Lorraine Edith Morris

Lorraine Edith Danby Morris, 90, of Ligonier, passed away peacefully March 6, 2025.  She was born July 8, 1934, in Larchmont PA a daughter of the late William Frederick and Florence (Worrell) Danby. Lorraine was a graduate of Marple Newtown High School class of 1952.  She ended her long work experience with Merrill Lynch and Vanguard.
Lorraine was an accomplished seamstress, quilter and enjoyed crafting, world travel, and entertaining with friends.  In addition to her parents Lorraine was also preceded in death by her husband Joseph W. Morris and brother William F. Danby Jr.  She is survived by her daughters Tracey McCarthy (Peter) of Jacksonville Fl, Charlene Vallino (Ken) of Ligonier PA, and Kristen Sims (John) of Oregon, a sister Faith Millard of Ligonier PA, a sister in-law Linda Danby of Exton PA, four grandchildren: Dylan Vallino, Danielle Vallino Day, Christopher Sims and Jonathan Sims and four great grandchildren Hudson, Cormick, Fiona and Bria.  Family will receive friends from 1 to 3 PM Sunday March 9, 2025, in the McCabe Funeral Home 144 East Main St. Ligonier.  Interment will be made in the Glenwood Memorial Gardens Broomall, PA.  Online condolences may be made at mccabefuneralhomespa.com..
