Lyn B. Noel

Lyn B. Noel, 87, of Ligonier, passed away peacefully Wednesday October 25, 2023 at her home.

She was born July 21, 1936 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Richard Millen and Ruth Seymour White Barnhart.

Lyn was Presbyterian by faith and was truly a free spirit who reached out to all people being generous to a fault. She was a 1954 graduate of Latrobe High School (Valedictorian),

 graduated from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing and had been a registered nurse for

many years at McGinnis Hospital. For many years she owned and operated Motor Care and had worked for two oil leasing business's in Marietta, Ohio.

She loved life to the fullest being an avid reader, tennis player, movie buff, lover of the beach, animals, plants and gardening.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Curtis J. Noel, and a brother Michael Seymour Barnhart.

She is survived by her  good friend a care giver Raymond Sechrist of Ligonier, her daughters; Kimberly Kelly (John) of Nags Head, NC and Tracy Cornelius of Fleming, OH,

her sister Elaine Boyd (Jack) of Ligonier and her brother Richard Millen Barnhart (Catherine) of Friday Island, Washington, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Sunday from 4-7pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 144 East Main Street, Ligonier and Monday from 5-7pm. Her service will be conducted Monday at 7pm with the Reverend  Dr. J. Paul McCracken officiating. Entombment will be made in the St. Clair Cemetery Mausoleum, Greensburg.
