Margaret DeNunzio Obituary

Margaret DeNunzio (née Buleca), born in Wilpen, Pennsylvania, to John Buleca and Mary (Gergley) Buleca, passed peacefully in Texas January 12, 2025, surrounded by family. She was the devoted wife of the late Charles DeNunzio Sr., and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her sister Anne, her son Dr. Charles DeNunzio Jr., her stepdaughter Lynn DeNunzio Crowe, her grandchildren Ryan, Jason, and Neil, thirteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In 2022, Margaret moved to the Texas Gulf Coast to live with her grandson and his family. She found joy in the warm weather, quiet mornings, and watching the saltgrass sway from her favorite spot on the porch — often smiling as she watched her grandchildren fish in the Gulf of Mexico. Her faith remained strong, and she never missed her Sunday church service, watching proudly each week online.

Margaret’s life was defined by her deep love for her family, her church, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass 10 am. Saturday. July 12 at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic  Church 112 St. Mary’s Way Bradenville, Pa. With Father Athanasius Cherry as celebrant. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at St. Mary’s Byzantine Cemetery on July 12, 2025.

Her memory is a blessing to all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of gentle strength, unwavering love, and a life lived with
