Mark E. Ahner

Mark E. Ahner 64, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Stahlstown, passed away February 2, 2026. He was born January 30, 1962, in Penn Hills a son of Louise (Sheffner) Ahner and the late Walter Ahner Jr. Mark was a carpenter before becoming a structural engineer inspector for PennDot. Mark was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing. When the weather was warm he would find time to ride his motorcycle or attend drag races. Mark is survived by his son Timothy Ahner of Mt. Pleasant, His mother Louise Ahner of Schererville IN, two brothers David Ahner of Schererville IN, and Eric Ahner of Port Matilda, two sisters Julie Fleck (Jeff) of Hollidaysburg and Amy Ahner McHaffie (Pat) of Merritt Island FL., a nephew Brian Mote and several other nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Mark is preceded in death by his wife Carolynn (Jacoby) Ahner, his daughter Lindsay Ahner and son Matthew Ahner.
