Martha J. Nicholson

Martha J. Nicholson, 91, of Derry, died Wednesday December 6, 2023 at Independence Health System Westmoreland. She was born May 15, 1932 in New Florence a daughter of the late Thomas and Stella Scorpio James.
Martha was a devoted wife and mother who had a good sense of humor and liked to laugh.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George W. Nicholson and two sons Lawrence M. "Larry" and John M. Nicholson.
She is survived by her children; Linda J. Davis of Altoona, Bonnie Lewis of Derry, George S. Nicholson (Sharon) of Derry and Robert "Bob" Nicholson (Lisa) of Derry, a daughter in law Kellie Nicholson, several grand and great grandchildren.
Friends will be received Friday from 4-7pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where a service will be conducted Saturday at 1pm. Interment will be made in the Coles Cemetery, Derry.
