Mary E. "Eddie" Hirsch

Mary E. "Eddie" Hirsch, 87, died Sunday October 9, 2022 at Garvey Manor Nursing Home in Hollidaysburg.
She was born July 9, 1935 in Johnstown a daughter of the late Robert and Catherine May Morrissey.
Eddie was a member of Holy Family Parish in Seward. She loved family and friends, was an extremely hard worker who was dedicated to keeping a beautiful home,
was an avid reader, animal lover, and truly enjoyed  the fall season and fall colors.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dr. William P. Hirsch, her two brothers; Larry and James Morrissey,
her three sisters; Joann Krishock, Margaret "Renee" Pounds, Janet "Sally" Focht and a grandson Brandon Boyd.
She is survived by her daughter Christy Boyd (James), her sons; Michael and William Hirsch, five grandchildren:  Alex Coppetti (Caden),
Megan Leary (Ronald), Cameron Lwin, Aden and Caleb Hirsch. Beloved friend and caregiver Threse Baywood, loving cousin Darlene Felus,
numerous nieces, nephews and other cousins.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 4-7pm in the McCabe Funeral Home 144 East Main Street, Ligonier.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11am at Holy Family Church, Seward. (Everyone is asked to go directly to the church)  Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery,
Johnstown. A special thanks to Garvey Manor for their many years of love and care.
