Mildred Flickinger Obituary

Mildred H. Flickinger, 81, of Indiana, formerly of Bolivar passed away peacefully Thursday February 1, 2024 at St. Andrews Village House in Indiana. She was born September 19, 1942 in Fairfield Township a daughter of the late Walter W. and Dora D. Kastner Flickinger.
Mildred was a member of the Church of Christ in West Bolivar and had retired from Torrance State Hospital with over forty years of service. She was a natural caregiver who was always looking out for her family and others, and had a love for dogs.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters; Dorothy Dora Lear, Edna Grace Rhoades and Leona Potts and three brothers; Albert, Walter and Jerry Flickinger.
She is survived by a brother Furgeson Flickinger (Shirley) of Blairsville, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Monday from 4-7pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 144 East Main Street, Ligonier where a service will be conducted Tuesday at 11am. Interment will be made in the Fort Palmer Cemetery.
