Nancy A. Anderson

Nancy A. Anderson, 84, of Ligonier, was called home Wednesday October 18, 2023 at Concordia at Bethlen, Ligonier. She was born April 2, 1939 in Ligonier, a daughter of the late Robert E. and Florence R. McDowell Nicely.
Nancy was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church of Ligonier and had been active at the YMCA and the Girl Scouts, USA.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harvey J. Anderson, and a son Larry A. Anderson. 
She is survived by her daughters; Cheryl J. Yeager of Ligonier and Tonnie Bearfield (Wyatt) of Blacksburg, SC, her son Scott W. Anderson of Portsmouth, VA, her brother Ronald Nicely (Chris) of Latrobe, her sisters; Carol Mitchell (Robert) of Ligonier and Bonnie Large (Tom) of The Villages, FL, two grandchildren; Kylie and Mary Bearfield, several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the McCabe Funeral Home, 144 East Main Street, Ligonier. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 1pm in the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 200 N. Market Street, Ligonier, with her pastor the Reverend Jordan Harris officiating.  Memorial donations to the Ligonier Valley Police K-9 fund or the Ligonier Valley YMCA are appreciated.
Interment will be made in the Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
