O'Reeta Grace Malone

O'Reeta Grace Malone,81, of Derry, passed away on September 28, 2023, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born January 6, 1942 in Latrobe a daughter of the late George F. and Grace Bush Hamill Sr.  O'Reeta was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed Bingo, was an active member of the 49ers Athletic Association and the Women's Auxiliary to American Legion Post #981, Greensburg.  O'Reeta is survived by her daughter Holly Arlene Malone (Robert) of Stahlstown, a brother George F. Hamill Jr. of Greensburg, a sister Mildred Bendl (Anthony) of Gaithersburg,MD., five grandchildren Molly, Lanna, Alexis, Andrew and Abigail Malone, and her faithful companion Biscuit.  In addition to her parents O'Reeta was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Byerly Malone.  Family will receive friends from 4-7pm, Monday, October 2, 2023, in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 West Third Ave, Derry.  Service and interment in Unity Cemetery is private.
