Paul J. Majorsky

Paul J. Majorsky, 88 of Latrobe passed away Saturday October 14, 2023, at Independence Health System, Latrobe Hospital. Paul was born on May 6, 1935, in Latrobe, a son of the late Paul P., and Mary Danko Majorsky.

In addition to his parents Paul was preceded in death by his brother Don and two sisters Linda and Betty. Paul was a devoted member of Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Throughout his life faith and family were of utmost importance. Paul was a US Army Veteran. He retired from Latrobe Steel in 1997. Following retirement Paul could always be found helping others. Paul was a reiki practitioner and participated in healing circles helping others through difficult times. He was an advanced wood worker who had won many awards for his carvings of life-size birds and wildlife. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of his life.

Paul is survived by his wife of 63 years Beverly Showalter Majorsky. His two sons; Paul M. Majorsky and his fiancée Mandy of Youngstown Pa. Gary S Majorsky and his wife Kimberly of Latrobe. His daughter Debra L. Hackett of Port Saint Lucie Florida. A sister Barbara Svidron and her husband Joseph of Derry as well as his grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, Haley, Madison, and Chase. Great grandchildren Gaige, Callie, and Damian as well as several nieces and nephews and a former daughter in law Valvet.

At Paul’s request there will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be celebrated Friday October 27, at 11 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Latrobe.
