Robert E. Knupp Jr.

Robert E. Knupp Jr., 65 of Ligonier, died unexpectedly Sunday August 25, 2024 from natural causes at his home. He was born September 14, 1958 in Ligonier the son of the late Robert E. Knupp Sr. and Doris E. Shrum Knupp.
Bob was a member of the Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Ligonier where he felt at home going to worship services and attending Bible Study. Many of his enjoyments came from singing, playing his guitar, comedy movies, motorcycles, and playing his bagpipes and belonging to the Laurel Highlands Pipe Band.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Robert E. Knupp III and two daughters; Gwendolyn and Margaret Knupp.
He is survived by his wife Anita Kyle Knupp, two daughters; Amy Collier and Sarah Knupp both of Latrobe, his son Alex Knupp of Ligonier, three grandchildren; Paige McCreary, Aidan and Emma Collier and his sister Bobbie E. Mohar.
Friends will be received Friday from 10-11 am at the Pioneer Presbyterian Church, 240 West Main Street, Ligonier where his service will begin at 11 am. Interment will be made in the Fairmont Cemetery.
