Robert C. Resides Sr.

Robert C. Resides Sr., 84, of Latrobe died Tuesday September 30, 2025 at IHS Latrobe Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was born February 6, 1941 in Latrobe a son of the late Charles and Wilma Henderson Resides.

Bob was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served with the 2nd Armored Division, stationed at Fort Hood, Germany, and Vietnam.

He was a member of SonRise Church. Robert retired from Charley Brothers and, in his spare time, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Above all, his family was his greatest treasure. His loyal companion, his dog Lilly, was always at his side, a constant source of joy and comfort.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his adoring wife, Jean (Baughman) Resides; his daughter, Beth Ann; and his brothers, Jerry and Douglas Resides.

He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his children: Robert Resides, Jr. of Latrobe, Rebecca Lukacs (Joseph) of Latrobe, Nadine Resides Thomas of Latrobe, Donna Marie Moyher (Greg) of Blairsville. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Derek, Mylee, Hannah, and Quinten; great-grandson Seth; and several sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the McCabe Funeral Home 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where his services will be conducted Saturday at 11 am with interment to follow in the Coles Cemetery with military honors.
