Rose M. Barger

Rose M. (Tatone) Barger, 92, formerly of Derry, died November 16, 2023, in the Hempfield Manor.  She was born in Cokeville, July 15, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Amelia (Cardellino) Tatone.  Rose belonged to a number of organizations while living in Derry and did a lot of volunteer work.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers Joseph, Anthony, Frank Jr. and Thomas Tatone; three sisters, Nettie Gormley, Theresa Fumea, Elva Merenda and a four-year-old brother and two infant siblings.
Rose is survived by three sons William "Bill" Barger (Leslie) of Las Cruces NM, Randolph "Randy" Barger (Beverly) of Woodridge, IL., Scott Barger (Millie) of Huntington Beach CA, one daughter Amy Miller (Jeff) of Fredericksburg VA, seven grandchildren; Jennifer Roth, Amber Pugmire, Nicole Hansen, Michelle Barger, Ashley Barger, Alexander Miller, Ryan Miller and nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  Family will receive friends Sunday November 19, from 4 - 7 pm, in the McCabe Funeral Home, Derry.  A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, at 10 am, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Derry with Fr. Salvatore Lamendola as celebrant.  Interment to follow in SS.
