RoseMarie A. Nickle, 93 of Latrobe, died August 26, 2025 at Rio Grande Nursing Home in LaJara, CO. She was born August 12, 1932 in Latrobe the only daughter of six children to Richard S. Hill and Rosella (Petrosky) Hill.
She was a beautician who worked from her home. After retiring as a beautician, she chose to be a caregiver for friends and the elderly living at home. RoseMarie was very active in her church serving on church council, Sunday School Teacher, bible study and singing in the choir.
She and her family were one of the original families who formed Prince of Peace Lutheran Church where they met at Latrobe Roller Garden for two years before their building was completed in Lawson Heights. RoseMarie was also an active member of the Order of Eastern Star Latrobe #221 where she served as Worthy Matron.
RoseMarie is survived by her two daughters Cynthia E. Washnock and her family and Cheryl A. Stouffer (William) and their families, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews and their families. She is preceded in death by spouses John C. Dailey, II and Richard Nickle, her son John T. Dailey and five older brothers Richard Hill, William Hill, James Hill, Robert Hill, and Charles Hill.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, September 4, from 11-1pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry. A brief Eastern Star service will be held 12:45 with a funeral service following at 1pm. Private interment will be made in the Coles Cemetery, Derry.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate RoseMarie's life at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Lawson Heights following the service with refreshments. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
