Sandra L. "Sandy" Connor

Sandra L. "Sandy" Connor of New Derry passed away peacefully Sunday July 5, 2026, she was born January 12,1952 in Latrobe a daughter of the late Louis E. and Elizabeth (Madey) Miller. She cherished time with her family, especially beach vacations filled with laughter, sunshine and shared traditions. At home, she found quiet happiness watching the birds at her feeders, always appreciating the beauty of nature. She also enjoyed visits to the casino, where she looked forward to the excitement and lively atmosphere. These simple pleasures brought her joy and reflected her appreciation for life's special moments.
Sandy is survived by her loving family; daughters; Tracy Mullen (Connor) of New Derry, Kim Patrick (LJ) of Derry and Roxie Johnston (Ron) of Fresno, California, her brothers Mike Miller (Jan) of Blairsville and Lou Miller (Cathy) of Latrobe, sister Donna Tagliati (Geno Jr.) of Avonmore, sister-in-law Lois Beatrice of New Derry, brother-in-law Donnie Connor (Rosemary) of New Derry, grandchildren; Lauren Orazio (Tyler), Lexi Mullen, Skylar Connor (Samantha), Brody Patrick (Katerina) and Trent Johnston, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She cherished her lunch dates with her lifelong friends Micki, Joanne and Diane.
In addition to her parents Sandy is preceded in death by her husband Louis "Vic" Connor, grandchild Austin and two great grandchildren Hendrix and Frankie.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM, Thursday July 9, in the McCabe Funeral Home, Derry where a Catholic blessing service will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 AM.
