Shirley H. Matthews, 85, of Greensburg, (formerly of Ligonier) died Wednesday December 30, 2020 in Excela Latrobe Hospital. She was born March 23, 1935 in Midland a daughter of the late Bennett and Julia Gertrude Phelps Harris.
Shirley was a member of St. James Lutheran Church of Ligonier and used to sing in the church choir. She was a graduate  of the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing, becoming a registered nurse and meeting her future husband Dr. Ted A. Matthews Sr. The...

It was a true pleasure to be one of Shirley's care givers. Could not find a more sweet and pleasant lady. Enjoyed my time spent with her. Rest easy my friend. I will truly miss you.
