Veronica Meshanko Bartman

Veronica M. Bartman, 88, of Ligonier, died unexpectedly Wednesday March 4, 2026 at her home. She was born January 14, 1938 in Braddock a daughter of the late Carl and Helen Peszek Meshanko. Veronica was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church of Ligonier and was a retired professional from US Steel. Many of her pleasures in life came from family, traveling, golfing, bowling, baking, gardening and making pierogies.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Bartman.
She is survived by her brother Thomas J. Meshanko (Donna J.) of Pittsburgh, a niece Kim Baldini (Bob) of Wexford, a nephew Thomas A. Meshanko of Monroeville, several great nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Tuesday March 10,2026 from 2-4 pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 144 East Main Street, Ligonier. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 am at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church of Ligonier with The Rev. Father Anthony Carbone as celebrant. Interment will be made in the All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Braddock.
