Vicky L. Zemba, 62, of Derry Township, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, August 20th, at Westmoreland Hospital. She was born August 30, 1962, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Robert C. Ament Sr. and Clara Jane Baker Ashbaugh. She was also proceeded in death by her beloved Stepfather, Raymond E. Ashbaugh who raised her as his own. Vicky graduated from Derry Area High School in 1982 and was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church of Greensburg. Growing up, Vicky enjoyed playing guitar and singing. She spent many of her younger years working at the "2nd Floor Game Room" in Derry. Vicky later was a homemaker who always put the needs of her family first. One of her greatest joys was watching her daughter Kasey sing and perform on stage. Vicky enjoyed trips with her husband to the Great Smoky Mountains, the beach, and to the casino. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Vicky looked forward to hosting "family swim days" weekly in the summer for her family and friends, whom she loved dearly. Vicky is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Patrick A. Zemba, her daughter Kasey Kisner (Josh) of Greensburg, her son Brandon Zemba (Brittany) of Homer City, 7 siblings; Pamela Kiliany (Ross) of Greensburg, Robert Ament Jr. of Latrobe, Kim Ashbaugh (Frank) of Derry, Kelly Karaschak (John) of Derry, Angela DeMarino of Cape Charles, VA, Joseph Ament of Chandler, AZ and Charles Ament (Kate) of Kingsville, MD, her stepmother Anita Ament of Latrobe, 4 grandchildren; Xander, Damian, Jaxson and Kayson, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, August 30th at the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W.
