Walter Jaap

Walter Jaap Jr. of Latrobe passed away May 11, 2024,  He was born May 11, 1932 in Houston, Pa.  Beloved husband, father and grandfather, he was content to have lived a long and happy life among the people he loved.  Walter was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.  Prior to retirement he was a stock broker, financial planner with Janney Montgomery Scott in Ligonier.  Walter was a member of Heritage Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Velma Turley Jaap and son Ronald Jaap and daughter Diana Feingold and grandsons Nick and Ben Feingold.  Also his stepson Jeff Turley and wife Faber and grandson Bill Turley.  A sister Maxine DeJulio and Nieces and nephews. Brother in law and sister in law Ken and Kathy Wright.
Walter will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.  Friends are invited to celebrate Walter's life July 2, in the McCabe Funeral Home, 144 East Main St. Ligonier at 1030 AM with a memorial service at 11 AM.  Online Condolences may be made at mccabefuneralhomespa.com.
