William J. Costanzo

William J. Costanzo, 85, of Latrobe, passed away Monday June 29, 2026 in IHS Latrobe Hospital. He was born July 15, 1940, in Punxsutawney a son of the late Frank A. and Martha Lillian (Weiss) Costanzo. William was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Derry. Before his retirement he had worked for the Latrobe Bulletin as editor and the Tribune Review as copy editor. He was an avid reader and enjoyed running. Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years Virginia (Malnofski), his daughters Angela Foster (Michael) of Latrobe and Jennifer Smith (Robert) of Greensburg, grandchildren Matthew Robinson and Jessica Findish and a brother Charles E. Costanzo (Lee) of Latrobe. In addition to his parents Bill was preceded in death by a brother Francis Costanzo and a sister Angela Costanzo. Family will receive friends Tuesday July 7, from 11:30 to 1 PM in the McCabe Funeral Home 300 W. Third Ave, Derry where a memorial service will be conducted at 1 pm with Rev.
