William H. Martin

William (Pappy) H. Martin, 87 of Youngstown passed on July 24, 2025 at Forbes Regional Truma Center in Monroeville.  He served the United States Airforce. He retired from Latrobe steel after 35 years. Pappy was the most loving and caring person anyone could have met. He would do anything for anyone. He was preceded in death by his wife Agnes Martin, mother Mabel Plume, father Thomas Martin and Peter Plume, his sisters Karen Shipley, Sandia Hayes, son-in-law David Kropfl and grandson Tommy Martin.  He’s survived by his daughters Kimberly Kropfl from Youngstown ,Angie Beers (John) from Youngstown William Martin (Tracey) from Blairsville and Thomas (Amy) from Oklahoma.  He has several grandchildren: Gabby, Nick (Melissa)Maki, Kaeden, Karsen, Taralyn (Zac) Kassidy, Kayle, Tyler, Gage, Treyson, Brittany. Great grandchildren: Lena, Lily, Lyla, Jaxon, and Sawyer.  His dog coco who was always by his side no matter where he went. There will be no services as that was Pappy’s wish . The family would like to give a big thank you to the nurses and doctors at Forbes Regional Trauma Center.
