Bruce Berringer, 62 of Rossiter, passed away Sunday January 8, 2017 at his home.

Bruce was born November 13, 1954 in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Burr and Betty Berringer Sr.

Bruce had a passion for hunting and fishing, and especially taking trips to the mountains with his good friend Joe Carcella to admire the elk and just being in the outdoors. Bruce will be sadly missed by many family members and friends.

Bruce is survived by one brother; Burr Berringer and wife Sue of Rossiter, one nephew; Michael Burr Berringer and wife Beth, two nieces; Michelle Brink and husband Danny, Kelly Isenberg, great nieces and nephews; Kyler Burr Berringer, Mesha Brink, Mikeelee Brink, Bronson Brink, Ashley Isenberg, and Gavin Isenberg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother; Thomas Isenberg.

Friends will be received Saturday January 14, 2017 from 1-5 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney. A funeral service will follow at 5 PM with Joseph Butterbaugh officiating.

Private interment will follow at Pearce Cemetery.
